A blood cell and biochemical content analyzer and a method. The analyzer comprises: a transfer module, a first hemolytic agent adding module, a second hemolytic agent adding module, a third hemolytic agent adding module, a diluting fluid adding module, a detergent adding module, a cleaning module, a mixing module, a control module, a first assay container (C1), a second assay container (C2), a third assay container (C3), and a fourth assay container (C4). The invention allows rapid completion of a blood cell routine examination and several biochemical assays on a single analyzer unit. The analyzer has improved assay functions, uses less sample, and has greater assay efficiency, thereby providing more comprehensive information for clinical disease diagnostics.
