A resource updating method and device for an interactive teaching platform, the method comprising: obtaining a target item bank, the target item bank being used for interactive teaching and being up to date (S101); when a teaching device satisfying preset access conditions is detected, establishing a connection with the teaching device, obtaining an item bank in the teaching device, and detecting whether the item bank in the teaching device is the latest (S102); if the detection result is that the item bank in the teaching device is not the latest, sending an updating prompt to the teaching device, and updating the item bank in the teaching device to the target item bank when receiving confirmation information for the updating prompt from the teaching device (S103). The method can enrich resources for an item bank.
