Disclosed are a system for continuously producing Jiuqu blocks and a method for making Jiuqu blocks, the system comprising: a Jiuqu making apparatus (100) for filling received Jiuqu materials into a mould box (161) and repeatedly pressing the Jiuqu materials inside the mould box at a plurality of stations in a hydraulic drive manner, and then ejecting a press-moulded Jiuqu block; a Jiuqu material supply mechanism (200) for mixing input dry materials with water and delivering the formed Jiuqu material to the Jiuqu making apparatus; a water cleaning and recovery system (300) for cleaning an empty mould box (162) obtained after ejection from the Jiuqu making apparatus and recycling waste water produced after cleaning; and a measurement and control device (400) for controlling various processes based on a sensing signal. The present system and method make the continuous production of Jiuqu blocks possible and increase the efficiency and quality of Jiuqu block production.
