A parameterized design method for a fan coil unit module based on BIM comprises the following steps: I determining a basic sample; II constructing a parameterized model; III setting pipe locations and sizes for a two-pipe fan coil unit and a four-pipe coil unit; IV setting component visibility; V setting one-key-press control for left-hand type and right-hand type fan coil units; VI providing an air pipe behind an air-blowing opening of a fan coil unit; VII manufacturing a flexible air channel connection; VIII manufacturing a diffuser member; IX performing control on a "Yes/No" type display parameter for a return air plenum, a lower return air connection member and a rear return air connection member; and X completing manufacturing and naming of water pipes and connection members. The method can significantly increase design, modeling and drawing output efficiency for a BIM-based heating and ventilation design in construction and engineering.
