The gene sequence detection chip comprises : a substrate (1); an electrode (7) located above the substrate (1); a signal lead (8), which is connected to the electrode (7) and is configured to input a signal to the electrode (7) and output the signal sensed by the electrode (7); a first insulation layer (3) located on one side of the electrode (7) away from the substrate (1); and a baffle wall (2), the vertical distance between one side of the baffle wall (2) away from the substrate (1), and the substrate (1) being greater than the vertical distance between one side of the first insulation layer (3) away from the substrate (1), and the substrate (1), and the baffle wall (2) forming a micro-hole (5) with the first insulation layer (3), wherein an orthographic projection of the micro-hole (5) on the substrate (1) is at least partially overlapped with an orthographic projection of the electrode (7) on the substrate (1).
