The present invention relates to a wood-plastic material having enhanced mechanical and weather-resistance properties, and a method for fabrication thereof; mixing a carbon-fiber raw material, thermoplastic, wood fiber, high-temperature lubricant, and high-temperature coupling agent, then performing carbonization prilling and carbonization extrusion, then performing conventional cooling, pulling, and cutting to obtain a wood-plastic material. The wood-plastic composite material of the present invention has a black surface and black cross-section, a metallic sheen, a metallic sound upon striking, and excellent mechanical properties, and strength and toughness are significantly increased; deformation from thermal expansion and cold contraction is small; the temperature of thermal deformation is greatly increased; moisture absorption is low, corrosion and disintegration are not prone to occur, and weather resistance is good; capabilities of resistance to ultraviolet rays are enhanced.
