ARP A method to implement network separation within a single subnet and the method thereof to support ARP protocols across the separated network segments

Provided by the present invention is a method to implement a network separation in one subnet without performing a separate work. The present invention is provided to communicate between hosts connected with the separated subnet. A separation network connection device of the present invention includes an internal network connection server and an external network connection server linked by an incompatible protocol. The internal network connection server and the external network connection server respectively includes: an ARP address determination process management unit which changes a departure address and a destination address; and a session management unit which builds and manages an ARP session between application layers. A network connection method by the present invention can be applied not only to a network using an IPv4 address and an ARP protocol but also to a network using an IPv6 address and a neighbor discovery protocol (NDP) in the same way.
