The present invention relates to a composition for preventing and treating inflammatory and allergic diseases containing a complex extract of Raphanus sativus L., Momordicae grosvenori Swingle and Juncus effusus L. var. decipiens Buchen. as an active ingredient. The extract of the present invention has excellent anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and anti-asthmatic effects such as inhibiting formation of NO, TNF-a and IL-6 cytokine secreted from macrophage after LPS stimulation, inhibits emission of -Hex and formation of LTC4 secreted from mast cells, inhibiting formation of IgE, IL-4, IL-5 and IL-13 in a bronchoalveolar lavage solution of an asthma animal model induced from ovalbumin and inhibiting formation of IL-4, IL-5 and IL-13 in lung, thereby being usefully used for preventing and treating inflammatory and allergic diseases.
