The present invention relates to a single nucleotide polymorphism probe for analyzing backcrossing of Brassica rapa, and more specifically, to a probe, a composition, a kit, and a microarray DNA chip, which are configured to detect a selected single nucleotide polymorphism from 468 single nucleotide polymorphisms, thus enabling a fast, accurate and early selection of backcross progenies that are most similar to recurrent parents among backcrossed breeds of Brassica rapa; and to a method of selecting backcross progeny of Brassica rapa by using the same. According to the present invention, backross progenies having targeted characteristics can be selected in a fast, accurate and convenient manner from backcross progenies produced by backcrossing. Particularly, since the present invention uses genetic information of Brassica rapa, various tissues or cells of Brassica rapa, such as sprouts, roots, etc. can be used, thus backcross progenies having similar traits with the recurrent parents can be selected even without a fully grown plant, and accordingly the present invention can be expected to be extremely useful in developing novel varieties of Brassica rapa.
