In a target selection method of an augmented reality system using a brain-computer access technology based on a steady state visual evoked potential: a target interface (1) detects the blinking of eyes of a user (100) who looks at a screen of an augmented reality display (10-1); a target candidate is selected as a checker board (40) which blinks with visual stimulation frequency selected after deriving a location coordinate by recognizing a user-facing object by a computer vision technology; and a target can be selected only by biological signals and brainwaves without a special action unlike existing methods in an augmented reality system (10) by grasping the user-facing object with a power spectrum analysis by detecting brainwaves of the user (100) who looks at the checker board (40). The present invention can be used especially in a narrow space or in a situation which is difficult to use hands and implement features used with existing methods.
