A matching service providing method and apparatus for matching a job seeker with a job offeror are disclosed. The disclosed matching service providing method includes determining the matching score of each of a plurality of job seekers for the job seekers by comparing job search conditions inputted from job offerors with job search conditions input from the job seekers, outputting information on the job offerors based on the matching score of each of the job offerors, and determines the matching score of each of the job offerors based on jobs which job seekers have done before and workdays for the jobs among the jobs that can be performed in the occupational classification of the job seeker. It is possible to effectively select the best job offerors for the job seekers.
