According to the present invention, disclosed are a folding method of a knee airbag apparatus and a knee airbag apparatus. The folding method of a knee airbag apparatus of the present invention comprises: a step of folding one side of an airbag cushion portion several times; a step of folding side portions of both sides of the airbag cushion portion which is folded several times, and stacking a main folding portion and a side folding portion; and a step of stacking a cover folding portion to one pair of side folding portions by folding the other side of the airbag cushion portion.
