The present invention relates to a Rhodobacter sphaeroides KNU-04 strain having plant growth promotion and nitrogen fixing ability (accession number KCTC 13065BP), and a microorganism product using the same. The novel strain of the present invention is experimentally confirmed to have plant growth promotion and nitrogen fixing ability, thereby usefully being used for an environmental-friendly agricultural technique. The strain includes 16s rRNA base sequence of a sequence number 1.
