The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing a mixed extract of pomegranate, cabbage rose, safflower, and sweetbrier as an active ingredient. To this end, the content of the mixed extract composed of pomegranate, cabbage rose, safflower, and sweetbrier is 0.0001-30.0 wt% as the active ingredient with respect to the total weight of the cosmetic composition. According to the present invention, the mixed extract composed of pomegranate, cabbage rose, safflower, and sweetbrier has inhibitory effects on matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) production, collagen biosynthesis effects, antioxidative effects, skin wrinkle improvement effects, skin elasticity improvement effects, and moisturizing effects, thereby enabling production of various functional cosmetic products.
