Disclosed are a method and a system for controlling motor driving which can significantly improve the efficiency of a motor by reducing a current ripple loss and a switching loss of an inverter in a low-speed driving zone of a high-speed motor. The method for controlling motor driving for controlling the speed of a motor to enable an actual speed measurement value of the motor to follow a speed command value comprises a step of repeatedly performing on/off driving on torque of the motor for a preset period with a preset duty while driving the torque of the motor based on the speed command value.
