Communication relay apparatus for moon exploration and relay method using the apparatus

The present invention relates to a lunar landing module communication relay device which is mounted on a landing module landing on the moon and transmits/receives information to/from a ground station or a rover. The lunar landing module communication relay device comprises: a communication part transmitting and receiving the information to and from the ground station or the rover by using a ranging channel of the landing module; and a ranging/rover selection module selecting a communication manner of the communication part. Therefore, the entire weight of the landing module and the rover is reduced.
