The present invention provides a responsive emotion smart toy having a context awareness function and an operating method thereof which collect and analyze information in accordance with the living pattern of a user to output a voice in accordance with a context. The responsive emotion smart toy having a context awareness function comprises: a wireless communication unit to receive time data and a sound file from an application installed in a mobile device of a user; a control unit to process the time data and the sound file received via the wireless communication unit; a control unit to process the time data and the sound file received via the wireless communication unit; a storage unit which is connected to the control unit, and stores the time data and the sound file received via the wireless communication unit; a speaker which is connected to the control unit, and outputs the sound file stored in the storage unit; and an RTC processing which is connected to the control unit, and communicates with the control unit to transceive time information in real time.
