The present invention relates to an editing method and an information providing method using a local newspaper (including living information newspaper) or a magazine, capable of easily and quickly searching for needed information in any component. According to the present invention, characteristics of a map are combined with an information medium by each target, so pieces of information for scheduled changes as well as the current state of a plurality of target companies in a living zone are collectively formed in a target content part (4) and a map figure part (2), or are additionally formed in an index part (3).
