An apparatus for testing the swimming of daphnia according to the present invention includes: a water tank storing a testing solution which includes daphnia; a rotating unit in which at least a part of the same is located inside the testing solution to create waves for irritating the daphnia; a camera taking a video of the daphnia; and a control unit controlling the camera to take a video of the daphnia for a predetermined amount of time after the rotation of a propeller is completed, and analyzing the video of the daphnia to obtain information regarding the swimming ability of the daphnia.
