The present invention relates to a primer set for a loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) reaction for Monochamus saltuarius identification and to a method for identifying Monochamus saltuarius using the same, and since the LAMP primer set of the present invention is specific to the Monochamus saltuarius and is excellent in sensitivity, the primer set does not respond to Monochamus alternatus or other insects, so only the Monochamus saltuarius can be specifically identified.
