An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for predicting the weight of an abdominal flap in breast reconstruction. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining data on a body mass index (BMI) from a population, data on a major axis length (W) and a minor axis length (H) from an area of interest arbitrarily set on the abdomen, data on an abdominal flap thickness from a plurality of points within the area of interest, and data on a real weight of the abdominal flap corresponding to the area of interest, and extracting a regression equation for predicting the weight of the abdominal flap through a multiple regression analysis method using the obtained data; and substituting the BMI, the major axis length, the minor axis length and the abdominal flap thickness, which are obtained from a diagnosis target, in the extracted regression equation to predict the weight of the abdominal flap of the diagnosis target. The present invention is able to be used in determining the size of the abdominal flap needed during operation.
