According to an embodiment of the present invention, a lidar system comprises: a pulse light source for outputting a laser pulse repeatedly; a speckle removing unit for removing a speckle by receiving a laser pulse of the pulse light source; a polarization modulation unit for modulating a polarization state according to a flight time between a target object and the pulse light source by receiving a laser regression pulse reflected or backwardly scattered from the target object; a measurement linear polarizing plate array arranged at a rear end of the polarization modulation unit; an optical sensor array arranged at a rear end of the measurement linear polarizing plate array; and a delay pulse generator for controlling a polarization modulation delay time between a laser pulse of the light source and a driving voltage applied to the polarization modulation unit. The polarization modulation unit comprises: a reference linear polarization plate for providing linear polarization to a laser regression pulse reflected or backwardly scattered from the target object; a polarization rotator disposed at a rear end of the reference linear polarization plate and rotating a polarization direction according to the driving voltage having the polarization modulation delay time from a trigger signal synchronized with the pulse light source; and a 1/4 wavelength plate disposed at a rear end of the polarization rotator.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
