Development of high-quality rigida pine and Mongolian oak pellets fabricated with by-products of chestnut shell tea and castor oil as a binder

The present invention relates to a method for producing high grade pellet with Pinus rigida and Quercus mongolica by adding Castanea crenata inner shell tea by-products and castor oil as binders, exhibiting moisture resistance and durability. The present invention further relates to a wood pellet produced thereby. According to the present invention, the produced wood pellet made of Pinus rigida and Quercus mongolica ensures remarkably improved moisture resistance and durability by using the Castanea crenata inner shell tea by-product and/or castor oil as the binders, thereby enabling production of high grade wood pellets.
