The present invention relates to a method for estimating a generator constant based on a PMU measurement, comprising the following steps of: (A) receiving a measurement value including instantaneous voltage and current values for each generator online through a network by using a measurement device installed on a power system including one or more generators connected to a power network through a transformer; (B) generating simulation result data for an output of a simulation regeneration generator by inputting simulation input data including a plurality of estimation target constants determined based on the measurement value to the simulation regeneration generator and performing simulation, with respect to a simulation equivalent system for simulation of the output of the simulation regeneration generator on the power network using a predetermined program; and (C) correcting at least one of the estimation target constants based on sensitivity analysis for the estimation target constants, and determining model constants for the generator according to an error by performing the simulation.
