The present invention provides a personal identification method through face comparison which can distinguish whether a target is a real face or a printed or sculpted face, provides similarity data of a face and can provide information on race and sex. The present invention is executed in a personal identification system and is contrasted with data registered in a database, wherein the personal identification system is composed of a capturing part, a control part which is connected to the capturing part, and a storing part which is connected to the control part and stores an identification image composed of a plurality of frames captured by the capturing part and a personal identification program. The personal identification method comprises a personal identifying step which includes: a face feature vector extracting step of extracting a face feature vector of the frame composing the identification image; and a step of calculating a Euclidean distance of the face feature vector extracted in the face feature vector extracting step and the face feature vector of the data registered in the database.
