According to the present invention, an instantaneous power failure compensation device with an inrush current cutoff function and an overload cutoff function comprises: a charging unit charging or discharging DC power; a power conversion unit converting external AC power into DC power when the external AC power is inputted so as to charge the charging unit, and converting the charged power of the charging unit into AC power for a load and outputting the AC power to the load when a voltage drop occurs in the external AC power; a protection unit connected between an input node, into which the external AC power is inputted, and the power conversion unit, and including a restriction unit which restricts only a part of the external AC power to be inputted into the power conversion unit so as to restrict an inrush current that may be generated upon initial charge of the charging unit, and a first blocking switch which is connected in parallel to the restriction unit; and a control unit turning off the first blocking switch when the charging unit is initially charged to allow the external AC power to be inputted into the power conversion unit through the restriction unit, and turning on the first blocking switch when the charging unit is charged to a predetermined voltage or higher to allow the external AC power to be inputted into the power conversion unit through the first blocking switch.
