The present invention relates to a wastewater treatment method including a denitrification process using an eco-friendly external carbon source. When an external carbon source used in a denitrification process is manufactured, environmental harmful substances or toxic materials are generated, and the manufactured external carbon source has an excellent supply stability by having a constant phase and is capable of being used in a biological reaction due to high content of organic materials. In addition, according to the wastewater treatment method of the present invention, an eco-friendly external carbon source can be manufactured, and the external carbon source exhibits a denitrifying effect of a level equivalent to a level of methanol and excellent economic feasibility of a process. Also, according to the wastewater treatment method of the present invention, by adding sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) in addition to the external carbon source during a denitrification process, alkalinity is corrected, and by simultaneously expressing a microorganism activation limiting effect, high efficiency of denitrification and reduction of costs are achieved.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
