Various embodiments of the present invention relate to a method for detecting an issue based on trend analysis and an apparatus thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for detecting an issue based on trend analysis includes the steps of: generating time series data for two or more categories based on inputted data; detecting an abnormal trend based on component data included in the time series data; and determining a part of a plurality of keywords designated in two or more time points as the issue, based on at least two or more time points at which the abnormal trend is generated. Accordingly, the present invention can improve the detection performance of an important issue.
