The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for learning a language for multi-cultural household parents, which enables foreign parents of a multi-cultural household to more easily and efficiently learn a language necessary for raising children. The method for learning a language for multi-cultural household parents comprises: a step of selecting a dialog scenario between children and parents on the basis of a language ability of the children and a raising situation, and confirming a learning mode; a situation learning step of playing a dialog situation between the children and the parents on the basis of the dialog scenario when the learning mode is a situation learning mode; a practical learning step of playing the dialog situation between the children and the parents on the basis of the dialog scenario when the learning mode is a practical learning mode, and frequently inquiring a user of content to be currently played; and a knowledge learning step of enabling the user to select at least one of a word, a sentence, a grammar, and a phoneme included in the dialogue scenario when the learning mode is a knowledge learning mode, and providing grammar knowledge information corresponding to the word, the sentence, the grammar, and the phoneme selected by the user.
