The present invention relates to Hypomicrobium sp. NM3 with accession number KCTC 13062BP and a methane conversion method using Hypomicrobium sp. NM3 strain. The strain may be used as a biological agent in the methane conversion method to increase the methane conversion rate and biomass amount of methane oxidizing bacteria.
