The present invention relates to a web-based performance improvement system for a database and an application. The web-based performance improvement system comprises: a web-based platform; and a performance improvement framework. The web-based platform includes a DB unit having a database management DB and an application management DB, and the performance improvement framework includes a performance information collection and diagnosis module, a performance information tuning module, and a performance integration management module. According to the present invention, various analysis environments can be provided by accumulating performance information and tuning histories for a database and an application.
