The present invention relates to a method and system for measuring image-based web/app service user experience performance. Particularly, when the image of a first page rendered on the screen of a user terminal among pages to be loaded is the same as a predetermined reference image, it is determined that rendering is completed in the user terminal. Experience performance based on a screen area actually seen by a user is measured by calculating the completion speed of the rendering. The image information of the first page is directly obtained from the frame buffer of the user terminal. A comparison can be made accurately and quickly regardless of the type of contents included in the page loaded by the comparison with the reference image.
