The present invention relates to an iris recognition device. More specifically, the present invention relates to a device and a method for recognizing an iris in which noise using a convolutional neural network (CNN) is included. The present invention can improve iris recognition accuracy without removing the noise such as lighting reflection light, eyebrows and eyelids included in an iris region from an eye image captured through a visible ray camera. The iris recognition device comprises: an eye image input part; an eye image preprocessing part; and an iris recognizing part.
