TURBIDITY MEASURING METHOD USING AIRBORNE BATHYMETRY LIDAR WAVE FORM ANALYSIS

According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a turbidity measuring method comprises the steps of: providing simultaneously, in the water, a laser pulse beam of a first wavelength reflected only at a sea surface and a laser pulse beam of a second wavelength transmitted through the sea surface to reach the seabed and reflected; the laser pulse beam of the first wavelength collecting a first optical signal resulting from water surface scattering at the sea surface, and the laser pulse beam of the second wavelength collecting a second optical signal resulting from sea surface scatting, underwater scatting, and seabed scattering by using a receiving optical system, wherein the first optical signal and the second optical signal are detected respectively over time in accordance with wavelengths; converting the first optical signal and the second optical signal into a first digital electrical signal and a second digital electrical signal, respectively; generating a first integrated signal by integrating the first digital electrical signal with respect to a predetermined time period in which a water surface scattering signal is generated; generating a second integrated signal by integrating the second digital electrical signal with respect to the predetermined time period in which the water surface scattering signal is generated; dividing the second integrated signal by the first integrated signal to generate a standardized measurement integrated signal; and extracting a measurement turbidity corresponding to the standardized measurement integrated signal by using the relationship of the standardized theoretical integrated signal according to turbidity predicted by a theoretical value. According to the present invention of the turbidity measuring method, a conventional lidar signal is analyzed, thereby providing turbidity information in a stable manner.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
