The present invention relates to an IoT-based safety management system for a construction site, capable of detecting the position of a worker using a beacon ID transmitted from a beacon transmitter installed in a unit area of a construction site and providing an alarm when the occurrence of danger at the position of the worker is predicted. Specifically, the IoT-based safety management system for a construction site includes: the beacon transmitter installed in the unit area of the construction site and transmitting the beacon ID at a predetermined cycle; a worker terminal transmitting the beacon ID via a local network constructed in the construction site in real time when receiving the beacon ID of the unit area corresponding to a moving position; a communication module installed in the construction site and transmitting the beacon ID via an outer network when receiving the beacon ID from the worker terminal in the construction site via the local network; and a site management server detecting the position of the worker in real time by using the beacon ID by each worker terminal, which is received via the outer network, wherein the site management server generates an alarm to the worker terminal via the communication module when a worker is in a dangerous situation.
