The present invention provides alumina excellent in electrolyte stability, a slurry containing the same, and an alumina porous film using the same, a laminated separator, a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, and a method for producing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. A first aspect of the present invention is a method for producing a semiconductor device, which comprises a total of 200 to 50,000 mass ppm of at least one element selected from the group consisting of K, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba and La, The total amount of alumina is 0.5 to 20 at%.
