Modular coupling for passenger rolling stock of railway transport

The utility model relates to the field of railway transport, in particular to the towing devices of rolling stock, and is intended for use in the automatic coupling of wagons. A modular coupling is proposed for a passenger rolling stock of a railway transport comprising a plate with fastening means to the car, connected by means of a spherical hinge device with modules connected in series by means of connecting units, including an absorbing apparatus, an emergency energy absorbing device and a coupling head. Moreover, the emergency energy-absorbing device consists of a crash-element connected to each other and an insert. A distinctive feature of the proposed coupling is that all the connecting nodes connecting the modules to each other, as well as the crash element and the insert, are made of the same type with the possibility of interchangeability.
