The invention relates to a method for producing a majorana-material-superconductor hybrid structure in which the superconducting material is applied to the majorana material with the aid of a shadow mask, and wherein on a substrate first a first mask for a structured application of the majorana material and another mask (shadow mask) for the structured growth of the superconducting material which are oriented relative to each other, and wherein the application of the majorana material and the superconducting layers takes place without interruption in an inert atmosphere, preferably under vacuum and particularly advantageous in ultra-high vacuum. The hybrid structure produced comprises at least one textured majorana material and at least one superconducting material disposed thereon, and a passivation layer, wherein the structured majorana material has a wire-like configuration with a length between 0.1 and 100 microns, with a width between 10 and 200 nm and with a layer thickness between 12 and 260 nm, preferably between 15 and 50 nm. The interface between the structured Majorana material and at least one superconducting material disposed thereon is advantageous contamination. The surface of the structured Majorana material is completely covered by either a preferably superconductive material or by a passivation layer.
