The present invention relates to an injection molding process for automotive - components, the components produced and their use, in particular on the basis of highly flowable plastics and in particular based on polypropylene (pp). The preparation process according to the invention is as thin wall - cascades - injection molding (twc - thin wall cascade injection molding) designates. The particularly novel and advantageous combination of the thin wall injection molding, injection molding with the cascades casting to a new injection molding technique permits very thin component thicknesses in the case of large-area automotive - components, such as, for example, shown in fig. 1. In contrast to the known methods for the production of such automotive - components makes the thin wall - cascades - injection molding shorter cycle times, a significant reduction in the maximum required closing force of the injection molding machine, lighter components and to an energy - as well as resources more efficient fabrication. This allows a plurality of automotive - applications, such as, for example, a rear wall door lining in the automobile, a roof lining in the commercial vehicle, a seat cowl in the rail vehicle or an interior panel in the aircraft.
