A device management apparatus which manages at least one field device includes a communicator configured to communicate with the field device to acquire device information, the device information including identification information for identifying the field device and at least one piece of additional information set in the field device, a key generator configured to generate an identification key for identifying the device information using the identification information and the additional information included in the device information acquired by the communicator, and a storage storing the identification key generated by the key generator and the device information in association with each other.
