The invention concerns a laminated page carrier comprising a laser-engraving-reactive page with a thin hinge element, and an embedded electronic contactless medium for recording where the hinge element represents the protruding flexible part, while the page carrier can be inserted into the non-personalised manual identity booklet, in particular a non-personalised passport, which includes such a page carrier, and the method for producing such a booklet. The invention concerns a laminated page carrier unit (1) comprising a laser-engraving-reactive page with a thin hinge element, and an embedded electronic contactless medium (4) for recording, a non-personalised manual identity booklet, in particular a non-personalised passport, which includes such a page carrier unit, and the method for producing such a booklet.
