To provide a front edge cover member also suitably used in a composite material blade body, which is used in an industrial gas turbine compressor, as countermeasure of water droplet erosion, and provide a front edge cover member unit, a composite material blade, a manufacturing method of the front edge cover member, and a manufacturing method of the composite material blade.SOLUTION: A front edge cover member 10c is provided outside a front edge region 23c including a front edge 22c that is an upstream side portion of the air flow in a composite blade body 21c including a reinforcing fiber and a resin. The front edge cover member 10c is characterized by having: a composite material cover base material 11c including a reinforcing fiber and a resin, and provided by adhering to the outside of the front edge region 23c; and a metal reinforcing layer 14c formed on at least a part of the outer side of the composite material cover base 11c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
