摘要

To easily estimate the progress state of groove corrosion.SOLUTION: There is provided a corrosion depth estimation method for estimating depth of groove-like corrosion which is formed in a subject member formed of a metal base material when the temperature of the subject member changes while the subject member is arranged in an atmosphere including a hydrogen sulfide and a scale is formed on the surface of a metal member. The corrosion depth estimation method includes: a reaction region calculation step of calculating the range of a reaction region in which sulfurization reaction occurs due to the hydrogen sulfide in the atmosphere; a crack region calculation step of calculating the range of the crack region attribute to a thermal stress caused by the change of the temperature of the subject member; and a depth calculation step of calculating the depth of the reaction region from the surface of the subject member, after repeating the reaction region calculation step and the crack region calculation step twice or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
