PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for generating an emulation model using a nonparametric regression model and for reducing the computational cost of generating and implementing the model.;SOLUTION: A system includes: an uncertainty setting unit 103 for setting uncertainty of each of a plurality of explanatory variables; a sample point generation unit 105 for generating a plurality of initial sample points according to the uncertainty of each of the explanatory variables; a simulation unit 107 for inputting initial sample point values to a simulation model and calculating simulation values; a design variable selection unit 109 for selecting the explanatory variables by calculating the coefficient of each of the explanatory variables of a linear regression model from the initial sample point values and the simulation values; and an emulation model generation unit 111 for generating the emulation model from an input vector having as components the selected one or more explanatory variables corresponding to each of the initial sample points and the simulation values of the initial sample points corresponding to the input vector.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
