To provide a tool path generation method for generating a tool path capable of improving the speed of processing a workpiece by a multi-spindle machine.SOLUTION: The method for generating a tool path for processing wood as a target workpiece by a multi-spindle machine includes: a plane extraction step of extracting at least one plane included in a target processing area that is a processable area of the target workpiece; a plane processing determination step of determining whether or not the plane extracted in the plane extraction step can be processed by a disk blade mounted on the multi-spindle machine; a disk blade processing path generation step of generating a machining path by the disk blade for the plane determined to be processable in the plane processing determination step; and a tool path generation step of generating a tool path including a processing path by the disk blade.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
