PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique stably performing desulfurization even when the flow rate of a hydrocarbon raw fuel per unit time is varied.;SOLUTION: A desulfurization apparatus 10 where a raw fuel gas G1 is treated and sulfur content contained in the raw fuel gas G1 is desulfurized includes: a desulfurizer 1 filled with a desulfurizing agent containing copper, zinc and nickel as main components or a desulfurizing agent containing copper, zinc, nickel and aluminum as main components; a recycle pump 4 adding hydrogen to the raw fuel gas G1; and a controller 5 controlling a hydrogen amount added to the raw fuel gas G1 from the recycle pump 4 per unit time to be large as the treatment amount of the raw fuel gas G1 per unit time desulfurized in the desulfurizer 1 is increased.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
