To inhibit vibration occurring during glass plate end surface processing to improve accuracy of the end surface processing.SOLUTION: In a glass plate end surface processing method according to the invention, a tool 13 (14) provided at an end surface processing device 10 is placed in contact with an end surface 2 of a glass plate 1 while being rotated to perform predetermined processing to the end surface 2. The end surface processing device 10 includes: a spindle 15a to which the tool 13 (14) is attached; a spindle head 15b which rotatably supports the spindle 15a; and a head attachment member 22 to which one axial end part 15c of the spindle head 15b is attached.
