To collect attributes of a group to which a customer belongs.SOLUTION: A customer management program according to an embodiment causes a computer to execute an accepting process, a determining process, a specifying process, and a storing process. The accepting process accepts identification information of a customer and identification information of an article used by the customer associated with the identification information of the customer. The determining process uses a sensor mounted on the article to determine whether or not the article is placed. When it is determined that the article is placed, the specifying process uses a camera or a wireless device mounted on the article to specify a situation around the article. The storing process determines a group attribute to which the customer belongs based on the situation around the specified article, and stores a determination result in a storage unit in association with the identification information of the customer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
