To provide a mechanism capable of efficiently preparing consumables to be replenished in an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An information processing device is connected to an image forming apparatus for performing image formation on the basis of image formation information used to perform image formation and a management device for managing the stock of consumables in a communicable manner. The information processing device includes: image formation request means for requesting image information; shortage information reception means for receiving shortage information which can specify consumables whose residual amount becomes short in causing the image forming apparatus to perform image formation; stock information reception means for receiving information for enabling a determination as to whether the stock exits; and stock securing request means for requesting the securing of the stock of the consumables when finding that the stock exists in performing image formation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
