To provide a hospital information system and hospital information utilization program, capable of discriminating a degree of importance of a category unit relating to objective medical care-related documents within a range of a category set by a user according to a utilization purpose of the medical care.SOLUTION: The hospital information system according to one embodiment, includes an input/output unit, and a storage unit. The input/output unit displays information of medical care related documents and evaluation information added to the medical care related documents on the basis of the number of cited medical care related documents. Further, the input/output unit includes an evaluation information editing unit for editing the evaluation information such that the evaluation information of the medical care related documents is optimally evaluated within the category including the medical care related documents.
